UX design around a range of APNIC products.

user journey

My roles

  • Develop processes, policies and strategies around the online user experience initiatives in the organisation (Voice of the Customer strategy, usability testing scripts and reports, A/B and first click testing, heatmaps and other analytical tools),
  • Collaborate with relevant teams and colleagues to deliver user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, presentations and comprehensively annotated design specifications for a range of APNIC products,
  • Assist developers with coding and troubleshooting (css, build problems, browser bugs),
  • Develop an end-to-end UX process that sits within the broader product management framework,
  • Collect analytics and data from APNIC’s web services to develop user experience initiatives,
  • Produce reports and provide insights into the data collected, ensuring these reports are updated and made visible company wide,
  • Run workshops with stakeholders to develop user journey maps.



Zanata project

  • UX development for Zanata translation application,
  • Design and frontend implementation (ReactJS, webpack, yarn, post-css) of new features in Zanata including interfaces to improve translation workflow,
  • User research including the development of personas, task lists, flow charts, user stories,
  • Interviews and participatory design with stakeholders and users,
  • User experience questionnaires and analysis,
  • Redesign of zanata.org,
  • Cross-platform testing,
  • Fixing snapshot and unit tests,
  • Feasiblity studies and contextual reviews.

QUT ePrints

Design and development of Queensland University of Technology’s thesis depository to make it reflect other outward-facing QUT websites.

  • Redesign of home page and browse by and abstract pages to be in line with other QUT designs

Design and (some) development for an updated and responsive QUT library website, based on usability studies and student feedback.

Extreme Weather Heroes

This web project has been developed by Green Cross Australia and zero(seven)web design Brisbane. Through following the stories of 5 emergency services volunteers, the project aims to encourage young people to volunteer in similar areas.
